Quick Early (for me) Update

Jill

Today, they are going to clamp Jill's hose for four hours to see if she fills up or if things start flowing more. The bowel sounds this morning were sluggish though. She has also had some back spasms. Hopefully, we will go for some more walks today to get things really moving.

Cade

Dr. Bonnie called with an update for Cade. They did the ultrasound and found that his ventricles have gotten larger. On the bright side of life, it appears as though the blood clots are dissolving. Since his blood pressure seems to be out of control and they have detected a heart murmur, they kept him on dopamine and have ordered an EKG to see if the murmur is due to patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). Other than that though, things seems to be quite stable and normal.
